Lasance's translation and augmentation of a German book "Hinaus ins Leben!" (Out into life!) is based on the imagery of St Paul of the Armor of God and provides detailed and profound commentary on spiritual warfare particularly with young men and their challenges in making their way into life, work, and vocation. Then follows a section of prayers and devotions--all old-school traditional Catholic (assumes the Latin Tridentine Mass).  It is illuminating to read the preface in light of today's neglect of care for our young men and the challenges they face now!
