Knowing when a door or window is opened or closed is one of the most important things to know in a home security system.
This sensor mounts to a door or window to detect when it is opened or closed.
When it detects a change in state, it sends an alarm signal through the Z-Wave® mesh network, which can then trigger preprogrammed responses, such as turning on a light or triggering an audible or silent alarm.
