This divine exquisitely designed and woven Antique/Vintage  FOLK ART Pine Needle Basket Tray is simply spectacular!  SEMINOLE PRIMITIVE work of art! Mid Century.
RARE - I have NEVER seen these baskets with multi-color coil wrap. This lovely SEMINOLE vintage Large piece features impeccable craftsmanship - fine Pine Needle basketry. The basket features rare multi color coil wraps. Told it is mid-century but leave the dating up to the experts on eBay! McKissick Museum has a sewing box on display with a color raffia.  It's just divine - perfect for the FOLK ART collector. It would look fantastic in just about any home. It does have damage on bottom one side the wraps on coils are worn off but, the basket has integrity and is intact. Not seeable if not facing that side. Could be repaired if desired by new owner but, was displayed this way for years. It is being sold in as is as found condition and not returnable. Please look at photos and ask questions. 11 1/2" long, 10" wide, and 2 1/2" deep. Other than the worn bottom backside of wrap on some coils the rest in intact and in beautiful condition. Priced accordingly for this large handmade basket! It would make a fine addition to your decor, folk art or pine-needle accessories collection, to use or to give as a gift!
