This is a rare vintage cylinder "hat box" beautician storage container.
Red, white and blue alternating stripes.
I think this was original packaging for a hair dryer" based on the small print on the back? Possibly then to be used for storage of personal things like as a hat box, wig box, rollers, etc.

10 3/8" tall x 8 5/8" diameter.

Made in Taiwan.
