    Description

    Hello and welcome!
    Featured item: an early, vintage Antique Native American Indian Tribal Figural Woven Basket. One side of the basket has a woven image of two chiefs (?) facing each other and the other side of the basket has two figures that I can’t quite decipher. Possibly birds or butterflies? The basket was originally handled on both sides but one of the handles is unfortunately missing. Oval in shape. I don’t know what tribe this was made by.
    This basket measures approximately 10 inches long by 3 3/4 inches tall.
    Condition is fair, antique. There are some splits in the edge of the basket, as well as the missing handle that I mentioned above. There is also a moderate amount of feeding to both of the images on each side of the basket.
