DESCRIPTION: Beautiful Vintage Papago Yucca Basket with Handled Cover and Devil's Claw Details. By Velena Cruz. Signed with Devil's Claw Crosses (Cruz is Spanish for Cross). From the Papago, Tahono O’odham Sonoran Native American Indians of Arizona and Northern Mexico. Approx. 4.4" Diameter at the Widest. Nice tight, fine weaving and construction. Wonderful item with a lot of color and textural interest. See the photos.
MARKINGS: Comes with the original information tag inside marked MADE BY VELENA CRUZ. Also, signed with Cruces on the sides. Otherwise, Unmarked. See the photos.
