Vintage Native Indian Basket Tribal Rectangular Bowl Handled Repeated Design

Indian baskets are NOT my area of expertise.
I am not able to give details of ownership other than I am selling for a friend who has a limited history. Her collection of baskets came from her deceased husband's family who made yearly trips to vacation in the Yosemite California area in the late 1930's -1940's, as well as trips to Alaska. She believes they acquired baskets from various areas on these trips.
The tribal affiliation could possibly be of Alaskan origin if what has been suggested to her is correct?
Even without being a basket expert I can observe this is very well made & very sturdy. Is not bendable. A repeated triangular linking pattern is designed all over it in 2 contrasting colors. The contrasting color grasses appear shinny or glossy in comparison to the background basket material.
The pattern does not go thru into the interior....the interior is solid.
Approximately 5" in height & 8" across. It is narrower at the bottom than at the top.....measuring 3-1/4" at the bottom, increasing to 5.5" at top.
It has a total of 11 coils around it with also a top & bottom wider coil. Appears to made from various grasses.
There are 4 minor imperfections in the weaving on the interior that I can find. These are not immediately observable but upon close inspection you can see a break in the weaving material. It has not loosened any of the nearby weaving however. There is a slight discoloration on the very bottom (see pics for severity & location) Uncertain if it is in the weaving grasses or is a discoloration from a stain? Upon using a magnifying glass I also can observe what appears to be a coating of clear glue that has been applied to one side handle. It doesn't look like any breakage had occured but perhaps it was applied to reinforce/strengthen & prevent any possible damage from occurring with the use of the handle? This appears on only one of the handles.
