    Description

    This great basket is made of bark and decorated with red and green dyed grass which has faded greatly over the years.  May have had a lid.  The last two photos included here show a photo of an identical basket (but newer and with a lid) with the business card of Ojibwe basket maker Margaret Lee (1929-2009).  I believe this basket was also made by Ms. Lee.  No holes or breaks. 7" wide by 5" high.
