    Description

    Vintage Klallam (Clallam)  oval handled coiled Basket with Eagle Motif scenes by I believe Mrs. Jones with original tag that is unreadable , but we have another basket from the same collection that the tag can be read and is made of the exact same materials and same type tag see item number 313493551916
    This basket was bought at the Lake Quinault Lodge years ago , part of a collection I just picked up .
    The basket is 10.5" across the top rim longest  by 8.25 wide and by 10.25" tall at the tallest part of the handle. It's made of Raffia
    .
    ( Northern part of the Olympic Peninsula in Washington state was originally home for two different native nations the Makah on the west and the Clallam (S’Klallam, Klallam) on the east )
