DOBBS Fifth Avenue New York
octagonal hat box c.1950s – 1960s.
The box is made of black cardboard with gold (yellow?) accents and the
DOBBS horse-and-coach
logo on four sides.
The hat box comes complete with the
cardboard platform inset inside
for the proper upside-down storage of vintage DOBBS fedoras, homburgs or other hats.
The hat box measures
about 15” x 13” x 7”.
Condition:
The hat is in
very good pre-owned condition
with minor signs of age and wear – no water marks. A very sturdy hat box to use or to display.
Safely stored in a pet-free, smoke-free and odor free home.
