    Description

    Beautiful
    handmade Tohono O'odham Papago Native American Indian basket.
    It measures 5 1/4" across and is about 1" in depth. It is in Excellent Condition and I believe this is the Lightning pattern. Comes with a small fold-out card with the maker's name:
    Sophie Saraficio
    - Santa Rosa, AZ on the inside. The basket weavers rely soley on the natural colors of the desert plants. Baskets are commonly made of bear grass, a long, narrow green grass with razor sharp edges a a flowing stalk; white and green yucca, willow, black devil's claw and red banana yucca.
