    Description

    Small, Old Indigenous Basket (Unknown Origin)
    I haven't been able to track down this item's origin.  Thererefore, I'm listing it as an old, indigenous basket.  The overall measurement is 4" dia x 2 1/2".
    The base of the basket (excluding lid) measures 4" in diameter and about 2" high.  The bottom is slightly domed and is made of a lightweight material that has a natural quality to it.  The inside surface has a fiberous texture.  There's a crack on the bottom, but no light shines through.  The leather strap measures 3/8" wide and is about 13" long.
    The lid measures 4" across.  The top is made of the same reddish material as the base and has some decoration woven into it.  The lid is slightly domed, just like the base.  It measures around 1 1/2" high.
