Sm decorative BELL Basket: Michelle Smiley - Passamaquoddy basketmaker

Lovely small BELL basket-  by Michelle Smiley, Passamaquoddy basketmaker. Bells is 2" high with a neatly done X wrapped ring handle that is about 1/2" - so 2.5" high total.  Bottom diameter is 1 3/8".  One bell is mostly natural brown ash weavers with red rim and ring handle wrap over blue dyed ash bottom and ring handle-  The other bell is similar with red wrap over blue dyed ash ...  and red and blue alternating stripes at center.
Made entirely of
brown ash, the traditional material of Maine and Eastern Canadian basketmakers, Michelle has initialled "MS" on bottom rim interior.  (shown in photos)
