A lovely, tightly woven basket, crafted out of what appears to be Willow and Devil's Claw.
Presumably Native American Southwestern culture, Pima, Papago or Apache, dating from the 1930's through 1960's.
A great object for study or display, this will make a nice addition to any student or appreciators collection of Native American art and artifacts.
Good condition with some discoloration and staining. Minor damage to weft and weave. Exhibits signs of age such as surface wear and weathering. As they are part of the description, please enlarge all photographs to better ascertain details and condition.
