This is a *Rare*
Salem Avalanche
New Era snapback hat from Salem, Virginia (1995-2008). Following the 2008 season, the team was renamed to the "Salem Red Sox" after its current affiliation with the Boston Red Sox organization.
The hat dates from the late-1990s and features the team's old mountain with an "avalanche" of cascading baseballs logo embroidered onto the front with the official Minor League Baseball logo on the back.

The hat is used, but overall nice condition and does include some discoloration across the inside band (I have tried to depict the condition and quality of the hat throughout my pictures, but am happy to assist with further pictures or any other questions you may have!)
