    Description

A great book - 1942? - 10 years older than me & in better shape!!
This is a WW2-era mid-elementary-range reader, 250 pp,, written by Robin Palmer
and profusely color-illustrated (every second page if not every page) by Edna Potter -  with a vocabulary-building word-list at the end!  Quite lovely!!
Standard youth reader book size: 6" x 8", in very good condition... has some age-appropriate scuffing on the ends of the firm spine, some discoloration on the front cover where it was not covered by a smaller book, and a dedication to a previous owner by his Aunt Sue, 3 days after D-Day, 9 June 1945!  Otherwise, in good shape, no tears, notes, or other perceptible damage!
Adds an interesting dimension to any children's book collection!
Ships to any US street, POBox or APO address
