Up for auction is a rare vintage The Light of Egypt Book by Thomas Burgoyne. This was purchased at an estate sale. It is a scarce 1889 First Edition. Also included is an old 1935 book store receipt which includes the information of one its past owners. As you can see in the pictures the cover has wear and there is a faded portion on the front at the top half. There are a few pencil notations on the inside front blank pages. There is what looks to be a small water stain at the top edge of the pages that begins to become more visible near the end of the book around page 282 - to the end at page 292. There is some cracking to back endpapers at the spine and some light fading on the back cover as well. Considering its age, it is in good condition. What you see in the photos is what you get. It is being sold as-is.
