Shock Wave UV In-Line Ultraviolet Clarifiers create healthy, clear pond environments for fish by eliminating free floating organic materials. This rugged, industrial strength UV sterilizer emits radiation in the form of ultraviolet light in a confined environment helps eliminate free-floating organisms from the water in your pond or water garden.
UV Clarifiers control algae growth by nullifying small protozoa, fungi and viruses which active algae needs to feed on to survive. Ultraviolet Clarifiers are not filters, as they detoxify the water rather than providing filtration.
Sterilizers purpose is to kill the unicellular algae which are mainly responsible for green water. In-Line UV sterilizers consists of a quartz glass tube within a tube, where water flows through an outer tube and over the UV lamp that is housed in the inner quartz glass tube.

The included 40-watt UV single-bulb lasts up to 9,000 hours and housed quartz glass inner-tube with a reflective stainless steel sterilization chamber boosts the UV-C effectiveness by nearly 35%. We recommend changing UV bulbs yearly for optimum cleaning performance.
Available in 40, 55 and 75-watt sizes with a 16' low voltage cord to UV with a glowing bulb function monitor.
Oversized inlet and outlet ports, plus 3" diameter housing, produces better flow rates with multiple inlet and outlet fittings that accept standard schedule 40 PVC fittings included.
