    Description

This is a pristine, genuine, handmade Arizona Papago Indian basket set purchased in the 1970's from an Arizona trading post.
These beautiful baskets have been very well-cared for & have no discernible flaws nor damage. Useful, yet stunning to display. The largest is 9-3/4" dia; the smallest is 8-1/2"dia. The bowl depths vary from 1-1/4" deep to 2-1/2" deep. Referencing the basket on the right: the tag has a handwritten annotation of "Sheila Madrid, 10 yrs old", presumably the weaver and her age in 1976.
