Here's a vintage Papago basket of plate measuring 10" in diameter and 1-1/4" tall.  Made with bear grass, yucca and devil's claw.  To make this type of basket, the green color of the plants is bleached out to light and dark tans.
Purchased by the previous owner from Indian Village, Springdale, Utah in June 1984.
