-Details:
Vintage Native American Hopi hand woven sifter baskets; set of two.  These two handmade baskets were made using yucca plant fibers that were woven into these intricate geometric designs in natural beige and yellow tones.
-Purchased in the 1980's on the Arizona Hopi Reservation; from my personal collection.
-Size:The smaller basket is approximately 11” L x 10.5” W x 2.5” H; and the larger basket is about 15.5” L x 13.5” W x 2.5--3” H.  The larger basket has a break on the top branch rim (see photos).  Otherwise, they are in great vintage condition.  They are not round but each has a unique handmade shape and height. If you enjoy natural looking wabi sabi hand-woven art, you will enjoy these unique pieces!
-Great Native American art that can be used as a table centerpiece; wall decor; a bread basket; kitchen basket to hold tea or coffee items, snacks, fruit; catch-all basket for the entryway or office; bathroom basket to hold towels, wash cloths; living room magazine and mail basket; a gift basket to fill and give; and more.
-Condition: Vintage used condition (see photos and description); about 35 years old. The smaller basket is in great condition with no breaks or cracks.  The larger basket has one broken area on the top rim branch (see photos); hard to see since the rest is still solid. Each basket has a unique handmade shape and height.
