    Description

This old Papago hand woven Plaque Basket in traditional pattern, made in traditional style, was purchased on the Papago Indian Reservation in Southern Arizona in the 1970's.  It had been well-used for utilitarian purposes by the time of purchase.
All weaving is sound and its rim is in solid condition all the way around...no unraveling anywhere. Colors on underside are deeper and less faded.
This will ship safely to any USA location for a flat .65.
