    Description

    Native American Handmade Basket - Papago / Tohono O’odham Basket  made from Beargrass, Devil's Claw and Soaptree Yucca. Woven basket is created with the traditional style split stitch.
    The Tohono O'odham are natives of the Sonoran desert in southern Arizona and northern Mexico and are known for their excellent basket making skills. The Tohono O'odham are also known as the Papago.
