c. 1948, this is 6th printing from 1955 with no later dates or further printing history.  Contains 294 pages including a Table of Pottery and Bibliography.  Illustrated with line drawings and drawings of pottery by Margaret LeFranc. Line drawings on end pages.
This hardcover is in very good condition with no scribblings, markings or owner's names.  Spine and binding are complete and all pages are secure. Book is clean and fresh with crisp, bright pages.  One smudge to bottom front corner and a bit of minor edge and corner wear only.  Dust jacket is in good+ condition, with light edge wear and a stain to lower corner edge [see photos]; it is not price-clipped [.75].
