Lot of 2, Circa 1902 Letters From CHARLES T. TRYON of BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA Regarding Investment in MOJAVE MINING CLAIMS.  Both envelopes are addressed to Mr. and Mrs. Small of Cooperstown, Pennsylvania.  Content includes, "...and it now seems certain that we have a good gold bearing ledge there and that it in a sense the mother lode along with what is marked on the map as the Mammoth...".  And, "...J. P. Morgan has come into the deal for the big mine that I have been put after by an English syndicate...".  There are five typed pages and two envelopes.  Approximate page size is 8-1/2" x 11".  Condition: light soiling, staining, edge wear and tears.  Please see photos for additional condition review.  Questions welcome!
