    Hand-colored engraving on laid bond paper by well-listed French artist François Dequevauviller (b.1745 -d.1807) after a painting by Swedish artist
    Nicolas Lavreince
    (1737-1807)
    the younger, called Lavreince, miniaturist and watercolorist, 1737-1807.
    This engraving depicts musicians in a lavish interior wearing 18th century attire with white wigs. The work is titled in type beneath the image with publication information in plate.
    Condition is very fine with some very light handling a few small nicks near the ceiling area and a small light damp stain on the upper front left corner not affecting the subject. Nice wide margins.
