This 377 page hardback book by J H Allen is titled
Judah’s Sceptre and Joseph’s Birthright. An Analysis of the Prophecies of the Scriptures in Regard to the Royal Family of Judah and the Many Nations of Israle, the Lost Ten Tribes.
    It was
published by Destiny Publishers of Merrimac, Massachusetts.  Originally published in 1902, this reprint is undated.   There is a frontis portrait of the author.  The previous owner's name appears on the front free endpaper. The dust jacket is worn with loss.  There is light wear to the cover extremities.  The pages are browning.  Overall condition is good.
This is one of the most important books advocating Anglo-Israelism or British Israelism.
Here is an extract from the publisher’s blurb:
Many books have been written setting forth Scriptural facts identifying the Anglo-Saxon-Celtic and kindred peoples with the House of Israel in the Bible. However, here is one book which, perhaps more than any other, has influenced its readers to recognize and accept the Scriptural and prophetical teachings concerning the modern Israel of God.
Those who are looking for a book sufficiently comprehensive to lay a foundation of essential facts will find here a clear and understandable presentation of the multiple evidences of identification, drawing supporting proof from the Bible and from secular history as well. It is a basic book, which should be in every pastor's library for ready reference, as well as on the reading list of wide-awake Christian teachers and leaders who desire to understand the distinctions between the various subdivisions of the Race of the Book
    .
Also, here is an extract from the Wikipedia article on J H Allen:

was an American minister. He was associated with the Church of God (Holiness), and is also heavily associated with
    British Israelism
. He came from Illinois, later moving to Missouri in 1879. Originally a pastor in the Methodist Episcopal Church, he later became a pastor in the Wesleyan Methodist Church in California. He was one of the co-founders of the
    Church of God (Holiness)
in 1883.  He “evangelized throughout the West and eventually moved to Pasadena, California, where he died”.
