    Description

    IPOWER 10 inch Centrifugal Inline Fan, 862 CFM, 174 watts, 120 volt 1.5amps, 2390 RPM, Very Clean.
    With Two 10" to  8" Reducers
    I put this oversized 10" fan in a 8" air cleaning system, so that I could reduce its speed, by using a variac transformer, to reduce the centrifugal noise.  It worked well; as it was suspended only a couple feet above a main walkway and was not a noise issue.
    It has  about a year of periodical use. When in use, it had a massive 3 layer air filter attached. The main body of the filter was a very large active carbon filter, with a standard cloth pre-filter around it, and then a 3rd thick charged fiber outer filter. The filtration system worked very well. When the fan's body was opened to be cleaned, there was very little cleaning needed; basically just some carbon dust.
