    Description

Coiled Basketry Plaque With Polychrome Mud Head Design From A Basket Dance.
    This
    used
    basket is from Second Mesa
    and
    features a
red, black and tan Mud Head Dancer and a black and white rim
    . It measures
6 1/4" in diameter and has a hanging loop on the back.
    It shows
minor wear otherwise it is in very good+ condition.
    This basket is from
    our personal collection.
    We purchased it about
20 years ago from a Hopi lady on Second Mesa who told us it was a gift from a Basket Dance
so she didn't know the weaver's name. We have had it in a display case since we purchased it.
The facial figures, rattle, dance wand and designs on the skirt are overstitched.
We will ship by first class mail with tracking to U.S. addresses only.
We are happy to combine shipping for multiple purchases. Please check our other offerings.
