If your control board potentiometers are both 50k and 100k, then these will work as an upgrade to repair dead spots which result in erratic thermostat settings, distribution blower function and feed speed. These upgraded potentiometers were purpose made by the OEM manufacturer with higher quality internals to increase longevity by 10x over the blue replacement pots on eBay, improve reliability, provide more consistent control settings and greater resistance to soldering damage. Just 3 of these Red potentiometers are equal in lifetime to 30 of the Blue replacement version per manufacturers specs/testing. We recommend to replace all three while the control board is removed. It is a simple repair if you can turn a screwdriver and solder or you could find someone to solder them for you and still save hundreds on a new control board. The blue replacement potentiometers on eBay typically need replaced every couple years (in climates which require frequent knob adjustments), which could potentially lead to board damage due to excessive soldering, so these are a major upgrade! In a random sampling we have also measured more accurate ohm values compared to the "blue" replacement versions, which results in more consistent and accurate control settings and confirms the manufacturers claims. Important application note: These are OEM brand universal fit for Harman 100k and 50k potentiometers and they do not have a center detent, like others sold on Ebay. Some Harman stoves used a special potentiometer with a center detent to provide tactile feel for the off position on the stove/room temp knob. This detent is not necessary as you can simply line up the dial indicator within the wide off position area as indicated on the stoves controls diagram and you will hear the stove begin to power down.
Providing three like potentiometers without detent allows more freedom in deciding whether you replace only the defective potentiometer or all three and eliminates the chance of placing the potentiometer with detent in the incorrect location.
