    Title; "Goodwin's Annual Legislative Statistics of State Officers, Senate and House of Representatives of Connecticut".  Bound together in one book with applied cover label noting it as "Volumes First and Second".  Tipped inside front cover is a carte-de-visite sized photograph of the author/compiler with an applied autograph signature reading; "Yours, Sir, Very Respectfully Wm. Goodwin".  Adhered to the back page is a poem song/sheet titled: "The Flag of the Union Forever" which is noted in it's heading as "an original song written by Willam Goodwinn of New Haven..."
    Manuscript notation on front cover label reads;  "James B. Williams, Glastenbury".
    Manuscript ownership inside front cover reads;  "J.B. Williams Glastonbury".  (James B. Williams had a drug business in Manchester in 1840 where he experimented with chemical formulas for shaving soap.  When he developed a satisfactory soap, he moved his business to Glastonbury and formed what was possibly the first commerical soap manufacturing business in the world.
    J.B. Williams Co. products known today include 'Lectric Shave and Aqua Velva.

    All 15 booklets are bound into a single book.  Each booklet is noted as "published by the compiler".  J.H. Bonham of New Haven, CT is the printer on all booklets with the exception of 1857 which was printed by Calhoun Printing Company of Hartford, CT.  Hardbound, cloth covered boards with leather spine.  Approximate dimensions are 9" X 6" X 1/2".  Applied title label on front cover.  Condition:  spine is rubbed and covers have edge wear and bumps.  Pages have toning, foxing spots, light soiling, edge bumps, scuffs.  Please see photos for additional condition review.  Questions welcome!
