When in the Middle Ages Persian for the most important instruction and literature language of the eastern Islamic world developed, it became known to Daru - as language of the royal yard - also as Färsu e Darbure or simply only. The last Abbasiden Kalif Al-Mutawakkil III. (1508-1516, again 1517) was spent, after Egypt of the Ottoman Sultan Selim I conquered and the Mamelucken sultanate had been eliminated, from Cairo to Istanbul, where its trace and those lose themselves the entire dynasty in the subsequent years (at the latest around 1543).
