Description

Walter Scott Houston was a famous amateur astronomer in the USA.  He wrote a column in Sky & Telescope magazine from 1946 to 1994. Each column was on one or more of the deep sky objects of that time of year. Very readable and with wonderful photos. Selections and commentary by Stephen James O'Meara, formerly a S&T columnist, and now a Astronomy magazine columnist. I met Houston a few times at conventions and he was a fun a wonderful man to chat with. He loved his night sky. A few of the pages in the center of the book have small bent over tips, which I will let you flatten them out. Hardbound and 309 pages. This will be a wonderful addition to your library!
