    Description

    CHEROKEE Vintage NATIVE AMERICAN Honeysuckle SPLINT Miniature EASTER BASKET #8 This is a very nicely made Cherokee honeysuckle vine and splint basket.  The shape and tiny size is wonderful  and is a great example of this type of basket- it is antique /vintage -perhaps from the 1950s-1970s?  although we are not sure.  It has some earlier vintage waxed Easter grass in the basket.  Basket has a nice very lightly aged natural surface which is in good condition.      See all photos for your review of condition. Has a nice primitive country look. The basket measures approx 1.75" tall to rim and approx 3.25" to top of handle.  It measures approx. 2.5" diameter.   This will make a nice addition to your Basket Collection .
