Carvewright Compucarve style 14 pin FFC Cable

Description

FFC 14 pin Cable fits Carvewright or Compucarve machines.
Finally found an alternate source for the FFA cables. I ordered some and got them about half an inch longer, so the cable is not under as much stress. These cables are not as thick as the stock ones, but that does not seem to affect anything. They are more flexible than the thicker ones. The only difference in the stats printed on the cable are the ones I have are rated at 80 degrees centigrade, and the stock ones are rated at 105 degrees centigrade. That should make no difference as if your machine reaches 80 degrees centigrade (176 degrees F) your shop is probably on fire. I had five trusted friends who are expert users take a couple and try them out. No complaints. I also took one to my research lab and put it on a minibionics testing machine and cycled it for 48 hours and it held up fine with no failures. One is now running on my main machine and has completed 120 hours at this point. I am telling you all of this because I want anyone who gets one to know exactly what they are getting.
Now the good part. They are each plus postage. Postage is .50 for one or ten. Once the postage is covered I can send you as many as you want for each. No returns. I have described exactly what you are getting. Make sure your machine uses the later 14 pin cable. Some A machines may still be using the old FFC cable which is no longer available.
The bottom cable in the photo is the official Carvewright cable. The top one is the replacement.
