    Description

    Lovely small Tohono O'odham (formerly known as Papago) basket.  The design is a combination of both the split stitch and coil method and has been embellished with applique rabbit design.  This is a beautiful example of Papago artistry.
    This basket was collected in the 1990's and kept in a pristine manner by a devoted basket collector.
