They are sometimes called "Big Buffs," because they are loosely feathered and appear to be heavier than their true weight. Buff Orpingtons mature moderately early and are good layers of brown eggs.

Average mature weight: roosters 8 1/2 lbs, hens 7 lbs.
Your eggs will be shipped less than 48 hours old at time of shipping and marked with the date they were laid. I do not ship eggs over 3 days old to ensure you have the highest possible chance of hatching with the eggs. I do guarantee unbroken eggs. If your eggs arrive broken, I must be notified within 24 hours of arrival. A refund will be give for broken eggs as long as it was not an extra egg.

I package my eggs well and I will send extras. I package my eggs well to prevent damage and it is rare for one of my eggs to be broken during shipping. I do not wash the eggs because it destroys the protective barrier on the eggs. I recommend you do NOT wash the eggs either. This will destroy the integrity of the eggs protective coat it needs to hatch the baby chick. I can't guarantee hatching rates because of shipping and handling after it leaves my control.

Fertility in my eggs is very good with my girls. I incubate a clutch monthly to make sure the eggs have strong fertility rates. I don't guarantee your hatch rates. If you can not accept or be ok with a no guarantee of hatch rate and no refund, please do not buy my eggs. I don't guarantee the hatch rate because of different hatching methods,tools and machines used by different buyers. However, if you have a bad hatch,please contact me because I work with people that work with me. I don't get a good reputation online or ebay by doing people wrong. Please have your incubator set up and running for 24 hours before the eggs arrive. This will allow the temperature and humidity level to stabilize for incubating.
