This is an entry-level heavy duty, high quality bench top CNC router.
Each router is custom built one at a time, like a fine watch. This router was designed to be capable of handling a wide variety of jobs such as Milling, Drilling, Routing, Engraving, Printed Circuit Board and 3D modeling projects on wood, plastics, machinable wax, and soft non-ferrous metals.
All router parts are precision CNC machined from Aluminum 6061-T6, and Steel. All three axes are supported by hard-chrome plated linear shafts and linear bearing. Motion of the three axes is provided by precision 10 thread-per- inch Acme lead screws and Acetal (Delrin) nuts to minimize backlashes (actual measured backlash is .001 or less on all axes ) adjustable to 0.000” with software. All the Acme screws ends have double sealed ball bearings and thrust bearings to eliminate any endplay. The router table is a 3/8" thick Mic-6 aluminum tooling plate with a 2.50” X 2.50” pattern of ¼”-20 holes ready to accept the customer’s fixtures.
All of the machine’s parts are bolted together with dowel pin construction to snap or press fit to be square and parallel on assembly / reassembly. The router is designed and built in the USA.
The router-frame is shipped as two complete sub-assemblies. The base table (Y axis) and the gantry (X and Z axis) assembly times are less than 30 minutes, you just have to tighten 8 bolts. Just add monitor, key board and mouse Router ready to run.
