QUANTITY: 8 Serama purebred chicken eggs. (Mixed colors, hen's choice)
SERAMA are a very small bantam breed that originated in Malaysia. They come in many colors and can have different combs. Most of ours have the single comb, but we have a few with a rose comb. They come in smooth feather, silkie feather, and frizzle feather. We have all three, but you do not get a choice. It will be the luck of the pick what you end up with.
We have Micro sized Seramas. Egg size does not indicate chicken size. Some of our smallest hens have laid the largest eggs.
It makes us wonder how they managed it.
Here are the four accepted weight classes for Seramas.
Micro: Males up to 13 ounces, and females up to 8 ounces
A Class: Males under 13 ounces, and females under 12 ounces.
B Class: Males under 16 ounces, and females under 15 ounces.
C Class: Males under 19 ounces, and females under 19 ounces.
Please PAY within 24 hrs from auction end.
Eggs are collected and shipped within a 24hr period and left unwashed to preserve the bloom for travel.
Eggs may also be slightly dirty because the hens are cage free and step in mud when it rains.
We CANNOT and Do NOT guarantee eggs will hatch.
Our Rooster to Hen ratio is excellent. The chances all eggs are fertile is very good.
But shipping can and does affect the embryos.
How you incubate affects the viability.
You may hatch all, some or none!
This is the gamble you take when purchasing eggs through the mail.
We cannot control shipping delays or the way they are handled during shipping or how you incubate them. You are taking a risk when you buy hatching eggs.
Package is insured. If you have broken eggs, file a claim with the USPS immediately.
