24 assorted eggs from my Brood pens. These eggs are extras from various brood pens that I have left after what I am planning to hatch or ship to someone else, and are no more than 3 days old. There are many different bloodline assortments as I have Yellow leg Hatch, Albany, JD Perry Blue face, Sherrill Penny Hatch, Cobra Asil, Cardinal Club Kelso, Lacy Roundhead, Bennett Greys, Graves Leiper, Webster Mclean, Batia Sweater, Adkins SL Sweater, Peyton Mcrae,+ more ... so you might get any combination. These eggs may also include eggs that have a browner shell color than the average off-white. The eggs will not be marked in any way other than my farm stamp. This is a chance to get quality birds at a LOW, LOW price. THESE will be MY choice of what to send, so please do not ask for any certain bloodline.This listing in for eggs; not chicks. You may hatch anywhere from 0% to 100%. If you cannot accept that reality do not buy these eggs.
I absolutely guarantee that the eggs you purchase from me will arrive unbroken and ready for incubation. If any eggs for which you have paid arrive cracked or broken, I will refund, or reship them in the case of 50% or more of the eggs being damaged. Please contact me within 24 hours of receiving damaged eggs to report the issue, and provide photos of the damage.
While I do guarantee that the number of eggs you purchase will arrive unbroken I unfortunately cannot guarantee that all or ANY of your eggs hatch. My eggs are gathered daily, shipped no more than 3 days after they are laid, and stored properly to ensure freshness and improve viability. Even with this precaution, most people are happy to get even a small percentage to hatch on shipped eggs although sometimes I have personally had 100% before on shipped eggs. Firstly, even if the eggs are intact on the outside, handling by the post office can damage them enough that they do not hatch. The internal arrangements of a chicken egg are relatively delicate and can be disturbed even if the outside is completely intact. Also they may pass through an x-ray machine while being shipped and the viability is comprised.
Secondly, I cannot guarantee your hatch rate because we have no control over the incubation conditions/methods with which you try to hatch them. Eggs will not develop into chicks unless exacting conditions of temperature and humidity are met--and even a one degree difference in temperature can cause them not to hatch or can cause the chicks that do hatch to be weak! If your thermometer is inaccurate, if the power goes off in your home during incubation, if your incubator is dirty: all these issues are simply beyond our control.
Hatching egg results will vary even if you are experienced, so while our eggs are guaranteed to arrive unbroken we cannot guarantee your results.
IN SHORT: BUYING EGGS THAT NEED SHIPPED IS A RISK. YOU MAY NOT HATCH ANY CHICKS DUE TO THE SHIPPING PROCESS. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT WHEN YOU PURCHASE THESE THAT YOU ARE ACCEPTING THIS RISK.
Please leave feedback upon your eggs unbroken arrival. Do not leave feedback on your hatch rate. NO RETURNS OR REFUNDS!!! If you do not agree to these terms DO NOT bid on these eggs! Unfortunately there are people who buy shipped eggs and then want a refund when some of them do not hatch, but this will NOT be the case. Due to the nature of hatching eggs it is impossible for me the guarantee you hatch any.
NOTE: all eggs I ship will be stamped. This helps prevent dishonest buyers who claim broken eggs, and provide pics of different eggs than I shipped. It also helps you keep track of which eggs I sent. If for any reason you request a return, I will need all the eggs I shipped including broken ones, returned to me so that I can refund you. Eggs will be wrapped in toilet paper and enclosed in an egg carton, point down. I have found this to be the most effective way to ship eggs. I do not wrap them in foil; it has been proven to be completely ineffective to block x-rays.
I also do not allow pick-up at my farm for bio-security reasons. Eggs are shipped only.
