    Description

    Pair of Vintage Hat Boxes from upscale department stores:  1 is from Kaufmann's Pittsburgh, other has no label.  Both have different Faux Reptile paper-over-cardboard with braided cord carrying ropes.      Both are structurally sound with no breaks or tears except a dent in top of one (see pix)   THESE ARE BEING SOLD AS A PAIR AND ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR INDIVIDUAL SALE.
    SIZE:   The FOrECAST is the larger of the 2, 12" diameter and 7" high with lid on.  Other is slightly smaller, and NESTS inside the larger.        All measurements  to the best of my ability to measure.   See photos for other dimensions.
    CONDITION:   Both are in good condition, with light  Scuffs & abrasions and CLEAN inside.   Smaller one has a small dent/break in lid that shows on inside, and a small area of torn paper on the lid as well.  The FORECAST box has about a 6" area along bottom rim where the side meets the bottom, where the paper is torn, so you can push in on the bottom a bit, but is still holds secure. (see the photo that shows the bottom of the boxes.  Forecast box is the upper box, so look at the upper left corner of that box)    Otherwise, mild wear, scuffs tanning inside,   The smaller one has an uneven print along bottom.     See pix.     These are VINTAGE, OLD USED and shows some wear.  .  NOT MINT CONDITION  but overall very  good.     Please look at all the pictures.
