The poster is approx. 31 x 41 inches
This is a superb example of a rare rock memorabilia poster that was intended for use in Head Shops and Music Stores in the San Francisco area in 1968.  The city is portrayed in a topographic form with what can only be described as groovy man, really groovy!  Jim Michaelson was a pioneer in the production of album covers and posters for bands, which some are in this poster.
Bands referenced in the poster include:
- Jefferson Airplane      - The Grateful Dead     - Quicksilver Message Service    - Moby Grape    - Big Brother and the Holding Company (Janis Joplin)
Venues  Include:
- The Fillmore Auditorium     - The Haight Theatre      -  The Avalon Ballroom.
This poster is currently in museum glass frame, the poster only will be sold.  I will roll it and ship it in a thick poster Tube.  These posters sell for well over 0, and I see only two others on the internet.  I'd keep this but it reminds of a woman who is not my lady any more in San Francisco.. Bummer man for sure.  It should go to someone who will appreciate the 1968 period in the Bay Area.
