Description
PCGS authenticated and graded VF Details.Glossy medium brown and light olive blending to chocolate on the reverse. There are several rim bruises on both sides, the notable ones left of the cap, at TA in STATES, and IC in AMERICA. The only notable mark inside the dentils is a planchet flake under the pair of leaves at the right top of the wreath. The date is bold and the legends are strong. Smooth surfaces. Terminal die state, Breen state IV. The crack along the bottom of the pole is very strong, nearly as thick as the pole itself. There is another crack that branches off of the first crack reaching through the bust and along the truncation branching into the lower curls, and a terminal crack arcs down into the field from the brow. A great die state and quite rare. Tied for CC#11 in the Noyes census, his photo #32440.
