NGC authenticated and graded Fine Details. G
lossy dark chocolate and olive brown toning with fine roughness hidden underneath, smoother on the high points.
There is a hint of rose overtone in protected areas on the obverse. No verdigris and just a few minor marks. The only notable mark is a dull, shallow scratch hidden in the toning left of the fraction. The date and legends are easily readable but not strong. The edge device is strong including the leaf with upturned points following DOLLAR. E-MDS, Breen state III, without any bulge in the field below the cap.
