    Description

    PCGS authenticated and graded VG 10. Steel brown with some natural planchet striations across the obverse portrait but otherwise nicely smooth surfaces. The central reverse legends are a bit faint but otherwise the legends and date are fully readable. A pleasing example of this ever popular and scarce AMERI. Chain Cent variety, the first struck by the United States Mint.
