Description
WELCOME TO BOLTZ FARM!!We collect 2+ dozen eggs a day, sometimes more from our free-ranged chickens.
Our chickens are
NOT
given antibiotics or steriods.
This auction is for 12 fertilized hatching eggs from our mixed flock. We will always send a minimum of 12 eggs but will always try to send a few extra to help better your hatch rates.
All of the eggs have been randomly fertilized by one our three roosters, which are pictured. We have 1- Exchequer Leghorn/Lavender Ameraucana cross roo (produces a blue shade) and 2- Lavender Ameraucana (produces a blue shade)
Most, if not all of the chicks you hatch will lay a green or blue shade egg, so don't be alarmed by the brown and white eggs you'll receive!
We always try to include some of every color egg we have. Sometimes it is not possible but we do our best to include at least one of each color.
Keep in mind though, no matter what the outside color of the egg is, the chick that hatches will lay some shade of green, olive, sage, blue etc. due to the rooster breeds.
Of course chicken genetics can sometimes do its own thing, so we cannot guarantee all will 100% be one of the colors we listed once they start laying.
We on the farm though have always gotten a blue, green sage or olive egg from our hatches.
**Should you like more of one color, please message us before purchase to make sure we can fulfill your request. Also, when you purchase, put in the notes the colors you desire the most and we will do our best to fulfill that request**
We have multiple different hen breeds. Please refer below to for a list of hens your eggs come from. Again, keep in mind that the eggs your are purchasing would be mixed breeds.
WE WANT YOUR EGGS TO HATCH!!
We will send the freshest eggs we have to help better your hatching rates.
Understand, there are several things out of my control when it comes to your hatch rates.
(Handling of the package once it leaves my hands, temperature, moisture, shaking, bumping, dropping, rolling, being crushed, shipping delays, x-ray carried upside down, incubation techniques etc.)
***PLEASE leave a rating based on things in my control such as: (how they were packaged, communication, etc)***
We do not guarantee a certain hatch rate due to shipping but know we incubate the same eggs and average about a 95% hatch rate with these eggs on our farm, but keep in mind that shipping will likely decrease your hatch rate (and possibly drastically if mishandled during shipment).
WE DO NOT
send replacement eggs due to USPS mishandling. If you do receive several eggs that are broken, please take a picture and send to me so we can reach out to the postal service and you should reach out to yours as well!
This is why we send out a few extra in the event any get damaged.
We only ship on Monday - Wednesday in hopes you recieve your eggs before the weekend and they don't sit at the post office all weekend. We want you to get them
ASAP
so you have a better hatch rate!
If you want them shipped Thursday-Friday please send us a message and I'd be happy to send them if that is what you wish. Just understand that this can hurt your hatch rate.
We will expedite eggs if that is what you choose but you
MUST
cover all shipping costs. Please message me should you want to expedite.
By purchasing these eggs you understand that the
BUYER
takes a risk on what types of chicken eggs you receive as well as the
BUYER
accepts the possible loss associated with shipped eggs.
If you cannot agree on these terms, please do not purchase!
If we can answer any questions, feel free to reach out to us and we will try to answer all questions quickly and in a timely manner!

WISH YOU A 100% HATCH RATE!!!
Please allow us a few days after purchase to be sure we provide the freshest eggs.
Once you receive your eggs you should let them rest at least 12 hours prior to incubation. If you receive any eggs that have air cell damage, it's best to have them incubate in the upright position the entire time of incubation just tipping back and forth after the first 7 to 8 days.
