    Description

    Lot of 10 Vintage Hardback Landmark Books. None of these books are Ex-Library books and have come from private collections. Some of these are Harder To Find Titles. I went through all the books and they are all in Good to Very Good condition.  A few of the books appear to be unread. Any particular issues with the books have been listed below.  No Dust Jackets. Again, a Nice Lot! Lot includes:
    Teddy Roosevelt and the Rough Riders by Henry Castor 1954 - Book is in Good Plus condition with a tight binding and mostly clean crisp internal pages. There is a nameplate inside the front cover. No other writing or markings in the book. Inside text appears to have had little use. Outside Cloth Covers show some minor soiling with some minor corner wear.
    Wyatt Earp by Stewart Holbrook 1956 - Book is in Good condition with a tight binding and clean crisp internal pages. The information part of the inside dust jacket flaps is taped or placed inside the front and back cover, along with the body of the "Dear Young Reader" letter from Stewart Holbrook which was taped and is now place on the first title page. No other writing or marks in the book. Inside text appears to have had little use. Outside Cloth Covers show some minor soiling and some minor corner and edge wear.
    The Crusades by Anthony West 1954 - Book is in Good Plus condition with a tight binding and mostly clean crisp internal pages. No writing or marks in the book. Inside text appears to have had little use. Outside Cloth Covers show some soiling with some corner wear.
    The Hudson's Bay Company by Richard Morenus 1956 - Book is in Good condition with a tight binding and mostly clean crisp internal pages. No writing or markings in the book. Inside text appears to have had little use. Outside Cloth Covers show some soiling and wear to include the outside spine.
    The Battle for the Atlantic by Jay Williams 1959 - Stated First Printing. Book is in Good Plus condition with a tight binding and mostly clean crisp internal pages. Inside text appears to have had little use. No writing or marks in the book. Outside Cloth Covers show some soiling to include the outside spine and wear to the outside corners.
    The Mississippi Bubble by Thomas Costain 1955 - Book is in Very Good condition with a tight binding and clean crisp internal pages. Inside text appears to be unread. The information from inside the front flap of the dust jacket is taped to the first end page and the "Dear Young Reader" letter from Thomas Costain is taped to the first blank end page. No other writing or marks in the book. Outside Cloth Covers are very nice.
    Sequoyah Leader of the Cherokees by Alice Marriott  1956 - Book is in Very Good condition with a tight binding and clean crisp internal pages. Inside text appears to be unread. The information from insdie the front flap of the dust jacket is taped to the first end page and the "Dear Young Reader" letter from the author is taped to the first blank end page. It also appears that there was something glued inside the back cover which is no longer present. No other writing or markings in the book . Outside Cloth Covers are nice showing some minor wear.
    America's First World War by Henry Caster 1957 - Stated First Printing Book is in Good condition with a tight binding and mostly clean crisp internal pages. There is about  a 1" tear at the bottom edge of the first title page. Inside text appears to be unread. No writing or marks in the book. Outside Cloth Covers show some soiling and some wear to the outside corners.
    The Story of Albert Schweitzer by Anita Daniel 1957- Book is in Good condition with a tight binding and mostly clean crisp internal pages. Inside text appears to have had little use. There is a name written inside the front cover and blue pencil markings inside the front cover and on the first end page. No other writing or marks in the book. Outside Cloth Covers show some soiling and some wear to include the outside spine.
    The Story of D-Day by Bruce Bliven, Jr. 1956 - Book is in Good Plus condition with a tight binding and clean crisp internal pages. No writing or marks in the book.
