**Brief Description***
The lot consists of (1) *MINT* Soviet Aeroflot stamp with original gum & *NO* hinge marks.
This is also a topical stamp with an aviation theme.
Original date of issue, 1963, Scott#C103.
**Condition Update**
The stamp is considered extra fine, except for a slight bow,*POSSIBLY*, which can affect the overall value.
It *MAY* only be present on a select few and is not too, too bad, in collectors terms -just be aware, anyway.
The colors are bold, the picture is clear and the typography is excellent.

**Historical Significance*
The Soviet "Aeroflot" is one of the oldest airlines in the world, tracing its history back to 1923.
During the soviet era, Aeroflot was the Soviet National Airline and the largest of its kind.
Following the dissolution of the USSR, the carrier has been transformed from a state-run enterprise into a semi-privatized company.
Aeroflot is still considered the de facto national airline of Russia
